Terms of Use

Agreement

These Terms of Use govern your use of attalu.com (the “Website”), including reserving a handle and joining the Attalu waitlist. The Website is operated by Attalu (“Attalu”, “we”, “us” or “our”), a company based in Israel. By using the Website or joining the waitlist, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Website. You must be at least 18 years old to join the waitlist. If you join on behalf of a company, you confirm that you are authorized to do so. These Terms cover the Website and the waitlist only. Access to the Attalu product will be governed by separate terms, which we will share when you are invited.

The waitlist and early access

Joining the waitlist registers your interest in Attalu. It does not guarantee access to the product, a date of access or any particular features. We open access in waves and decide the order at our discretion, based on factors such as your role, where you work and when you joined. We may change, pause or end the waitlist or the early access program at any time. Any early or beta version of Attalu will be provided as a preview. It may change, contain errors or be withdrawn, and should not be relied on for critical work until we say otherwise.

Handles

When you join the waitlist, you can reserve a handle (an @name). A handle is a username on Attalu, not property you own, and it cannot be sold or transferred. You may not reserve a handle that:

  • impersonates another person, company or brand;
  • infringes a trademark or other rights of someone else;
  • is offensive, misleading or unlawful;
  • is reserved in bulk or held only to resell or block others.

We may reclaim, change or release a handle that breaks these rules, that we need to reserve for a legitimate rights holder, or that remains unused after you are given access. Where reasonable, we will tell you first and let you choose another one.

Emails, updates and newsletter

By joining the waitlist, you agree to receive emails from Attalu, including your access invitation, product updates, announcements, new essays and our newsletter. You can unsubscribe from updates and the newsletter at any time using the link in any email. We may still send you essential messages about your waitlist place or handle, unless you ask us to delete your entry. How we handle your email address and other data is described in our Privacy Policy.

Acceptable use and intellectual property

Acceptable use. You agree not to:

  • give false information when joining the waitlist or join under someone else’s identity;
  • use bots, scripts or automated means to reserve handles or submit forms;
  • interfere with, scrape, overload or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Website;
  • use the Website for anything unlawful or harmful.

We may remove your waitlist entry or handle if you break these rules. Intellectual property. The Website and everything on it, including the Attalu name and logo, text, essays, designs, graphics, code and videos, belong to Attalu or its licensors and are protected by law. You may read, share links to and quote short parts of our content with attribution. You may not copy, modify or reuse it for commercial purposes without our written permission. Feedback. If you send us ideas or feedback, we may use them freely to improve Attalu, without any obligation to you.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Website and its content are provided “as is” and “as available”. Our essays and descriptions of Attalu explain our vision and plans; they are not promises that specific features will exist or work in a specific way. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Attalu is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, profits or business, arising from your use of the Website or the waitlist. Our total liability for any claim related to the Website will not exceed USD 100. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including your rights as a consumer where they apply.

Changes, governing law and contact

Changes. We may update these Terms, for example when the product launches. We will post the new version here with its date and, if the changes are significant, tell you by email. Continuing to use the Website or staying on the waitlist after that means you accept the updated Terms. Ending. You can leave the waitlist at any time by emailing us. We may remove you from the waitlist if you break these Terms. Governing law. These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel. Any dispute will be heard exclusively by the competent courts in Tel Aviv-Jaffa, unless the law of your country gives you the right to bring a claim locally.
